Having started her fitness career as a Personal Trainer in 2002, Candice soon realised that in order to teach clients effectively they needed to understand good alignment, posture and correct movement patterns to reach their full potential.
This led her to the Pilates Method and so she trained with Body Control Pilates qualifying in 2004. In 2007 she moved from Hampshire, where she had been working with osteopaths and physiotherapists, to Ripley, Surrey. After spending 4 years furthering her training and work experience in a reputable and prestigious studio, Candice now runs small group classes near Guildford and, for clients requesting a more bespoke programme, private, and shared sessions are held at her fully equipped, home studio in Ripley, Surrey, using Pilates equipment such as Gratz reformers and towers. Continually developing her skills with workshops and courses, here in the UK and abroad, gives Candice the confidence and passion to pass this knowledge on to her clients.
Candice gets great satisfaction from teaching and working with a mixed ability clientele, seeing results and bringing people a quality of life they may have thought was not possible. With patience, perseverance and commitment, your goals can be achieved.
Although an experienced Classical Pilates Teacher, Candice has also undertaken extensive training exclusively related to exercise referral & low back pain to become a Back4Good Practitioner & a Level 4 Advanced exercise instructor. This blends extremely well with her qualification in Sports and Remedial Massage to offer a thorough understanding of the muscular and skeletal workings of the body.
