Candice SullivanFOUNDER & SENIOR PILATES TEACHER
Having started my fitness career as a Personal Trainer in 2002, I soon realized that in order to teach clients effectively they needed to understand good alignment, posture and correct movement patterns to reach their full potential.
This led me to the Pilates Method and so I trained with Body Control Pilates qualifying in 2004. In 2007 I moved from Hampshire, where I had been working with osteopaths and physiotherapists to Ripley, Surrey. After spending 4 years furthering my training and work experience in a reputable and prestigious studio in Weybridge, I now run small group matwork classes in Merrow and Send throughout the week and for clients requesting a personal programme of exercises, private sessions are held at my home studio in Ripley, Surrey using the reformer. chair and cadillac. Continually developing my skills with workshops and courses, here in the UK and abroad, gives me the confidence and knowledge to pass this on to my clients.
I get great satisfaction from teaching and working with a mixed ability clientele, seeing results and bringing people a quality of life they may have thought was not possible. With patience, perseverance and commitment, your goals can be achieved.
Although I am an experienced Body Control Pilates Teacher, I have also undertaken extensive training exclusively related to exercise referral & low back pain to become a Back4Good Practitioner & a Level 4 Advanced exercise instructor. This blends extremely well with my qualification in Sports and Remedial Massage to offer a thorough understanding of the muscular and skeletal workings of the body.
Ali NevardPILATES TEACHER
Ali started taking Pilates classes herself in the 2006, wanting to find more balance between the busy, high pressure environment she was working in at the time and a more healthy lifestyle.
After a little thought and some great training by new Pilates friends and mentors she decided to have a complete career change. She qualified in 2010 as a Body Control Pilates Teacher. Since then she has gone on to study soft tissue therapy, sports massage, remedial massage, medical acupuncture and osteoporosis/osteopenia.
She continues to go to courses and workshops at BCP, School of Osteopathy and the LSSM.
